This is your opportunity to join me and friends at Miami's Windsurfer Beach, learn to windsurf, improve your sailing skills and have fun.
Windsurfing is easy to learn and enjoyable at any age. New wider and more stable boards, combined with much lighter sails make windsurfing easier than ever. And, I will be your coach.
You will learn to sail in 2 hrs:
- 45 min on shore to go-over gear, wind & navigation basics, and warm up
- 1 hour on the water
light breeze and calm waters
longer time on the water is your choice - 15 mins on shore debriefing
Your windsurfing practice can be gentle and relaxing like riding a bike trail throuhg an open field, or as exhilarating and addictive as flying high above water on 30 mph winds.
Dates: Every Saturday, and some Sundays, from May 19th to July 7th - weather permitting.
Cost: I am bringing the joy of Windsurfing to the people in my world, for free. All you need is a sailboard which can be rented on-site.
Sailboards Miami provides on-site sailboards rentals for $25 hr, including water booties and life-vests if you need them. They also offer a range of lessons and other rentals such as Kayaks. On your very 1st lesson you can share a sailboard with another sailor, but soon enough you'll want your own.
